His legacy lives on through her. We are so grateful to have her as a part of our family. Thank you Simon for asking God to send her to us. She reminds us of you in so many ways. Mommy asks you to watch over her and keep her safe. I feel in my heart that she was sent here for a special purpose. Help me to guide her to find out what exactly that will be. The Lord gave her to me, just as He did when he sent you.

One year later, on Simon's birthday I take his baby sister to his tiny grave. I gave Simon a big balloon and some flowers. Never in my dreams could I have imagined being able to smile like this on his birthday. It was truly a bitter sweet day for me.
